In response to the war in Ukraine, Pope Francis has invited bishops throughout the world to join him on Friday, March 25 in the consecration of all humanity and especially Ukraine and Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will be the principal celebrant at a 12:05 p.m. Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul. Metropolitan Archbishop Borys Gudziak, head of Ukrainian Catholics in the United States, will preach the homily. They will lead the prayer of consecration preceding the Mass.
