Twenty-nine adults from 17 parishes in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia received the sacrament of confirmation on Pentecost Sunday, June 5 at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia. Archbishop Nelson Perez conferred the sacrament during a Mass for which he was the main celebrant. He also led confirmation liturgies at St. Veronica Church in North Philadelphia on June 8, where he confirmed 28 young people, and at St. Joseph Church in Spring City on June 6, for 17 young Catholics — see photos from all the Masses below.
