GIA Publications will present a choral reading session Oct. 17 at 7 p.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul.

The free, two-hour event will welcome all music and choir directors, cantors, accompanists, instrumentalists and clergy members.

The first half of the workshop will be spent singing through 10 new choral octavos. During the second half, participants will sing hymns from GIA’s new Gather (Fourth Edition) hymnal.

All registered attendees will receive a copy of the hymnal (with readings) and the packet of 10 octavos for attending.
