As Catholics throughout the five-county Archdiocese of Philadelphia mark the beginning of Advent, Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez released a video message Nov. 27 on social media saying, “As we direct our lives more fully toward the Lord this Advent let us pray for and encourage one another to be people of hope striving to become missionary disciples for Christ.”
