Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez launched the 2023 Catholic Charities Appeal (CCA) Jan.23. CCA is the Archdiocese of Philadelphia’s single largest annual fundraising initiative. This year’s fundraising goal is $12.5 million and the theme is “Giving Hope to All.”
Mr. Ernest W. Russom III, President of the CCA Board of Directors, as well as representatives from CCA beneficiary organizations joined the Archbishop. Ms. Angela Babcock, Administrator of Divine Providence Village, a ministry of Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia serving individuals with intellectual disabilities, and Sister Lisa Lettiere, IHM, Principal of Saint Lucy School for Children with Visual Impairments, one of three Archdiocesan Special Education Schools, offered testimonies about the critical impact of the CCA.
