The Archdiocese of Philadelphia is once again partnering with The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia to participate in #iGiveCatholic for the fourth year in a row according to a Aug. 14 press release.
#iGiveCatholic, which is nationally recognized as the official Catholic Giving Day, is celebrated annually on #GivingTuesday, which follows Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Cyber Monday.
The annual initiative presents an opportunity for Catholics to affirm their faith as disciples of Jesus Christ by sharing their gifts out of love for God and one another.
Last year, the Archdiocese participated in #iGiveCatholic with 154 registered organizations and raised over $1.5M for their beneficiary programs.
It also gives parishes, schools, and nonprofit ministries the chance to rally support for their individual organizations and make a difference in their community, with the goal of raising as many funds as possible.
Any parish, school, or nonprofit in the Archdiocese that is interested in registering should visit Philadelphia.igivecatholic.org.
