The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal and The Vincentians of the Eastern Province will hold a mass in honor of St. Vincent de Paul on Wednesday, September 27, at 6:00 p.m. at The Basilica Shrine of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal in historic Germantown, in Philadelphia. The international, Gen Verde will accompany the Mass.

This special Mass will honor the noble work and legacy of St. Vincent de Paul, the founder of the Vincentians, who dedicated his life to helping those in need.

Inspired by St. Vincent’s example of charity, attendees are encouraged to bring new socks or gloves for Blessing Bags which will be made for those experiencing homelessness.

The musical talent of Gen Verde began 50 years ago with the group has touring the globe and performing in more than 1500 shows, events, and concerts. Gen Verde’s music is designed to build bridges rather than barriers, and to foster dialogue rather than intolerance. The music, comprised and sung by 9 artists from 14 countries, is designed to motivate, conveying a message of hope and solidarity through words and music.
