Archbishop Pérez will hold a news conference this morning with the new bishops-elect for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

The news conferences comes after Pope Francis this morning appointed three priests of the Archdiocese of Philadelphia to be new auxiliary bishops of the archdiocese.

They are Reverend Keith J. Chylinski, 52, Rector of Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary; Reverend Christopher R. Cooke, 50, Dean of Men at Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary; and Reverend Efren V. Esmilla, 61, Pastor of Saint James Parish in Elkins Park and Saint Martin of Tours Parish in Philadelphia as well as the Chaplain to the Filipino Apostolate.

The news conference with Archbishop Pérez and the bishops-elect will start at 10:45 a.m.

Following the news conference, the Archbishop will concelebrate Mass for the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary with the bishops-elect at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
