Young adults who participated in World Youth Day 2023 gathered Feb. 9 – 10 at Mother Boniface Spirituality Center for a retreat led by Fr. Stephen DeLacy, Vicar for Faith Formation of Youth and Young Adults, and Fr. Timothy Tarnacki, OSPPE, Director of the Office for Ministry with Young Adults. The gathering marked the final stage of  the Young Adult Missionary Disciple Initiative (YAMDI) formation program.

On Feb. 10 Archbishop Pérez celebrated Mass during which he commissioned 35 individuals as young adult Missionary Disciples for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. During the Lenten and Easter seasons, these young adults will create small faith sharing groups to engage other young adults throughout the five-county Archdiocese.  (Sarah Webb)
