The Archdiocese of Philadelphia announced March 19 that for the third consecutive year, The Catholic Foundation of Greater Philadelphia (CFGP) has signed on as the official sponsor of the live streaming broadcast of the Sunday Mass celebrated each week at 11:00 a.m. at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul.
CFGP is an independent, nonprofit community foundation committed to growing philanthropy according to the teachings of Jesus Christ.
The Foundation has also expanded the scope of its sponsorship to include additional live stream Masses throughout the year.
This sponsorship enables the Archdiocese to continue bringing the Church into the homes of hundreds of thousands of people locally and around the world who are not physically able to gather for the celebration of Mass in their local parish church.
Sarah Hanley, President and Chief Executive Office for CFGP, says the nonprofit is “grateful for the opportunity.”
“We could not think of a better way to demonstrate our founding principles of faith and service than to bring this beautiful celebration to the faithful who are unable to attend Mass in person.”
The 11:00 a.m. Sunday Mass is streamed live each week and can be viewed on Archbishop Pérez’s Facebook page; Archdiocesan Facebook page; CFGP’s Facebook page; and on Vimeo.
