Sisters of the Redeemer Open Centennial Year with Special Mass

Archbishop Nelson Pérez along with Bishop John J. McIntyre and other clergy members celebrated Mass March 19 at St. Albert the Great Church in Huntingdon Valley marking the opening of the Sisters of the Redeemer’s Centennial Year. The Mass marked the 100th anniversary of the first German Sisters of the Redeemer arriving at Ellis Island on March 19, 1924 — the Feast Day of their patron saint, St. Joseph.
