More than two dozen archdiocesan elementary schools have earned reaccreditation from the Philadelphia-based Middle States Association for the 2023-2024 academic year.
The designation for the spring cohort was announced April 18. This latest announcement brings the archdiocesan total to 26 elementary and regional schools for the school year.
Middle States accredits preK-12 public, private, parochial, and charter schools among other institutions and learning services providers. Schools and school systems throughout the country voluntarily rely on it to demonstrate they are meeting a defined set of research-based performance standards.
Schools are assessed in five key areas that make up the Standards for Accreditation. Areas include foundations; governance and organization; student well-being; resources; and teaching and learning.
Each school is accredited for seven years. Below is the list of 26 archdiocesan schools reaccredited for the 2023-2024 year.
