This year’s graduating seniors amassed an astounding record breaking $532,160,153 to further their educational journeys at colleges and universities across the country.

Jay DeFruscio, Chief Operating Officer for Secondary Schools in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, unveiled the cumulative scholarship total earned by the Archdiocesan Class of 2024 on Thursday, June 13.

The announcement was shared on the Archdiocese of Philadelphia Schools social media platforms. Watch it on Facebook here.

“I congratulate the members of the Class of 2024 for their hard work and achievements,” DeFruscio said.

Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez also shared an end of year message to all Archdiocesan school families, faculty, staff, and administrators, and the Class of 2024.

In it he said, “I applaud you as you celebrate graduation. You have worked so hard and achieved so much in the classroom, on the playing fields, through extracurricular activities, and in service to your communities. Congratulations to you and all those who have supported you along the way!”
