Reverend Girard J. Cusatis, Retired, Resident, Saint Joseph Villa, Flourtown, died on Monday, July 8, 2024.

Father Cusatis was born on July 5, 1933, in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Anthony Cusatis, and the late Rose Parsonese. Father Cusatis attended Girard College,
Elementary School and Girard College High School Philadelphia, before entering Saint Charles Borromeo Seminary.

Father Cusatis was ordained on May 18, 1963, at The Cathedral Basilica of SS. Peter and Paul, Philadelphia by Most Reverend John J. Krol. Father Cusatis served as Parochial Vicar, Assumption B.V.M. Parish, Feasterville, Saint Lucy Parish, Philadelphia, and Saint Andrew Parish, Drexel Hill. He served on the Faculty at Cardinal O’Hara High School, Springfield. He retired from active ministry in 2008.

The Reception of the Body will be held at Saint Andrew Church, Drexel Hill, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 9:15 AM followed by a viewing. Most Reverend John J. McIntyre will celebrate the Funeral Mass for Father Cusatis at Saint Andrew Church, Drexel Hill, on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 10:30 AM. Reverend Monsignor Albin J. Grous will be the homilist.

Interment will be at SS Peter & Paul Cemetery in Springfield, Pennsylvania.
