As part of its commemoration of Hispanic Heritage Month, the Archdiocese of Philadelphia will hold their annual Hispanic Heritage Mass at St. Peter the Apostle Church on Oct. 5 at 11:00 a.m. Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez will be the principal celebrant and homilist.
Prior to the Mass, at 10:30 a.m., there will be a procession featuring faithful from parishes throughout the Archdiocesan Hispanic Apostolate representing their countries of origin in traditional garments.
The Hispanic Heritage Mass commemorates the heritage and rich diversity of the Hispanic Catholic community in the Philadelphia region. Participants are encouraged to dress in the traditional attire of their countries of origin. All are invited to attend.
The Mass is sponsored by the Office for Hispanic Catholics.
