On Saturday, Oct. 5 the the Ukrainian Catholic Archeparchy of Philadelphia held its “Engaging the Core” Reporting and Benefit Event. The evening, which gathered more than 200 guests including Archbishop Nelson Pérez, included a keynote address and report by Archbishop Borys Gudziak; dinner and musical performances; a silent auction; and a photo exhibit celebrating 140 years of life of the Ukrainian Catholic Church in the United States. Funds raised will go to support the work and ministries of the Archeparchy while helping war victims in Ukraine. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
