Hundreds of Catholics gathered to celebrate the annual Hispanic Heritage Mass Saturday, Oct. 5 at St. Peter the Apostle Church in Philadelphia. Each year the Mass, sponsored by the archdiocesan Office for Hispanic Catholics, commemorates the heritage and rich diversity of the Hispanic Catholic community in the Philadelphia region. Archbishop Nelson Pérez was the celebrant for the Mass and Bishop Christopher Cooke delivered the homily.
