St. Athanasius Parish will host the 42nd annual Archdiocesan Interfaith Prayer Service, honoring Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and his legacy on Jan. 19 at 3:00 p.m.

Archbishop Nelson Pérez will be the principal celebrant and will be accompanied by Jewish rabbi Shawn Zevit and Baptist pastor Reverend James E. Mack. Other participants will include Marcelle Fletcher from the Archbishop’s Commission for Racial Healing as well as Mitchell Scholarship winners.

Music will be provided by the Philadelphia Catholic Gospel Mass Choir and soloist Rita Bostic, parishioner of St. Athanasius.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

St. Athanasius Parish is located at 2050 East Walnut Lane in Philadelphia.
