Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez hosted a service initiative at Father Judge High School for Boys’ new Career Pathways Academy building as the keystone event for the celebration of Catholic Schools Week in the Archdiocese. The event featured participation from hundreds of students representing Archdiocesan high schools, parish and regional elementary schools, and schools of special education.
These young people packaged 1,500 relief bags with non-perishable items for individuals served by Martha’s Choice Market Place and Community Farm, a ministry of Catholic Social Services. They also wrote handwritten notes with prayerful encouragement to include in the bags. (Photos by Sarah Webb)
