Sister Catherine Julia Reinhart, SSJ
Sister Catherine Julia Reinhart SSJ, (formerly Sister Marie Raymond) age 87, died on March 11, 2025, at Chestnut Hill Hospital.
The daughter of the late John and Catherine (nee Michatz) Reinhart, she attended St. Helena Grade School and Wildwood Catholic High School.
In September 1956 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1964.
Sister Catherine ministered in the dioceses of Camden, Harrisburg, Newark, Philadelphia, Trenton and Washington D.C.
She is survived by her brothers John, Paul, her sister Rita and survived by members of her Congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Philadelphia.
Visitation by relatives and friends will begin at 9:30 am on Monday, March 17, 2025, at Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown. A Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sister’s name to Saint Joseph Villa, 110 W. Wissahickon Ave, Flourtown, Pa 19031.
