Archbishop Pérez attended a pastoral listening session held Feb. 27 at St. Matthew Parish in Northeast Philadelphia’s Mayfair section. The numerous listening sessions being held throughout the five-county Archdiocese of Philadelphia are an opportunity for everyone to make their voice heard by joining in conversation about the path we will forge together for our Church, outlined in the Archbishop’s recently published Pastoral Letter.

Listeners heard from Archbishop Pérez, as well as Brian McCarthy, Chief Strategy Officer of the Archdiocese. The Office for Strategy, which he oversees, has played a large role in implementing the plan that will carry out Archbishop Perez’s vision for the Church in Philadelphia.
