St. Charles Borromeo Seminary presented Mr. and Mrs.  Kathy and Ward Fitzgerald with the St. Charles Borromeo Award at its gala award dinner March 19 at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia. The award, given by the Board of Trustees of St. Charles Seminary, is presented annually to those who lead impactful lives of service and humility.

Archbishop Pérez presented the award to the couple recognizing their philanthropy work in the community and especially to the seminary.

As Philadelphia philanthropists, Mr. and Mrs. Fitzgerald also support Project Home, the Papal Foundation, the National Center for Padre Pio, the Catholic Leadership Institute, the Institute for Real Estate and The Institute for Church Life at the University of Notre Dame, Franciscan University, and Jefferson University Hospital’s Neurology Department, the Raphael Center for Neurorestoration as well as other charitable endeavors.
