Based on the true story of Mother Cabrini, the film follows her path as a 19th century immigrant to the United States from Italy. As a religious sister and founder of the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart, she brought the compassionate love of Christ while also facing injustice as she cared for the poor immigrants she met in New York City and in other cities.

Mother Cabrini became a naturalized American citizen in 1909. After her death in 1917, she was declared a saint in the Catholic Church in 1946, and the patron saint of immigrants in 1950.

“Cabrini” stars Cristiana Dell’Anna, David Morse, and John Lithgow. It is produced by Angel Studios, with executive producer J. Eustace Wolfington.
