The National Centre for Padre Pio will host a special Mass and the enthronement of the Holy Veil of Manoppello, believed to bear the miraculous image of Christ and noted for its resemblance to the Shroud of Turin on Tuesday, July 15 at 12 p.m. This marks the first permanent display of the relic on the East Coast.
The liturgy will be celebrated by Bishop Alfred Schlert, D.D., J.C.L. Bishop of the Diocese of Allentown and Padre Antonio Gentili, OFM, Capuchin, rector of the Basilica Shrine of the Holy Face, Manoppello, Italy
