Andrea Ciliberti has been named the new principal of Monsignor Bonner & Archbishop Prendergast High School, according to a May 21 announcement from the archdiocesan Office of Catholic Education. The appointment becomes effective June 16.
Ciliberti assumes the role of school principal following the July 2024 appointment of Patricia Rooney as an assistant superintendent of secondary schools for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Ciliberti most recently served as assistant principal for academic affairs at Bonner & Prendie where she held that role since 2013.

A longtime educator and administrator, Ciliberti has spent 17 years at the Delaware County high school, overseeing academics and serving as the school’s liaison to the Upper Darby Police Department.
Ciliberti holds degrees in sociology, criminology, Spanish, secondary education, and English, along with ESL certification.
She is currently pursuing her principal certification at St. Joseph’s University.
