Faithful Celebrate the Election of Pope Leo XIV with Mass

Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez celebrated a special Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul in Philadelphia May 9 for the election of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV. Clergy, lay faithful, school students, and people of goodwill, both in person and via livestream, joined the global Catholic community in prayer and congratulations following the election.
