The annual John Cardinal Foley Symposium held May 22 at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary featured a “town hall” discussion with expert communicators including Joe Holden, chief investigative reporter for CBS News Philadelphia; Gina Christian, national reporter for Our Sunday Visitor; and Fran Maier, senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center. Maier, a veteran journalist, received the 2025 Cardinal Foley Award for Excellence in Communications.
