Catholic Charities of Philadelphia (CCoP) has introduced a new logo to accompany the recent rebranding of its charitable ministries.

Catholic Charities of Philadelphia’s new logo.

The logo draws inspiration from Catholic Charities USA, the membership office for Catholic Charities agencies nationwide. Iterations of the graphic are used by many Catholic Charities agencies across the country.

Heather Huot, Secretary for CCoP, notes the intentional use of keeping “of Philadelphia” the same size as the words “Catholic Charities” in the new look.

“Many other Catholic Charities agencies make the location smaller in relation. We wanted to highlight that we are local to Philadelphia and proud of our roots.”

CCoP’s more than 40 programs will begin adopting the logo with some incorporating program names when appropriate, moving away from nearly 30 different logos to one consistent look.

In addition to the updated logo, the ministry has also launched a new website to improve their ability to explain who they are and what they do, highlighting CCoP’s four pillars of service:

  • Nourish the hungry and shelter those experiencing homelessness;
  • Strengthen and support at-risk children, youth and families;
  • Stabilize and enrich the lives of seniors;
  • Empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
