Sister Anne William Fagan SSJ, age 94, died on June 29, 2025, at Chestnut Hill Hospital.

The daughter of the late William and Sarah (nee Elder) Fagan, she attended St. Gabriel Grade School and Notre Dame Catholic High School in Moylan, Pa.

In September 1949 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1957.

Sister Anne ministered in the dioceses of Allentown, Newark, Philadelphia and Trenton.

She is preceded in death by her sisters, Anna, Dorothy, Catherine, and Frances, her brothers, William, Martin, and Joseph. She is survived by her brother Paul, sister, Mary Dougherty, nieces, nephews and members of her Congregation, the Sisters of St. Joseph of Philadelphia.

Visitation by relatives and friends will begin at 9:30 am on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at Saint Joseph Villa in Flourtown. A Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be live-streamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.
