A major advertising campaign for the Archdiocese of Philadelphia is coming this fall, and scenes for the ads will be filmed this week throughout the local Church.
All Catholics are invited to serve as extras at several Catholic churches on Friday, Aug. 15. All ages are welcome and no acting experience is necessary.
Sign up today for filming at one of three parish locations:
* St. Cyprian Church in West Philadelphia: https://bit.ly/3HboJjq
* Holy Innocents Church in Northeast Philadelphia: bit.ly/4fgKAmg
* St. Patrick Church in Norristown, Montgomery County: https://bit.ly/3IVu3Ie
The ads, which will run on TV, radio, print, bus shelters, online and more across the Philadelphia region, celebrate the joy and connection of everyday Catholic life.
Participants are needed to show real parishioners living their Catholic faith in an authentic way. Their presence will show that being Catholic doesn’t end when Mass does – one is Catholic, every day.
Those interested need only bring their smile – along with family and friends – and their strong example of a vibrant, living Catholic faith.
In addition to Friday’s filming, an ad for the campaign will be shot Thursday, Aug. 14 from 2:45 to 5 p.m. at Core Creek Park, Pavilion No. 11, in Langhorne, Bucks County.
Located near St. Andrew Parish in Newtown, the filming will capture moments that reflect the beauty of Catholic life in community, including the laughter of elders, the playfulness of children, and the small but powerful gestures that show love in action.
