Catholic Charities of Philadelphia (CCoP) has appointed Ellen Mansfield as Director of Philanthropy, effective Aug. 25, 2025.
Mansfield will lead agency-wide fundraising strategies—including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, corporate sponsorships, and grants—to support CCoP’s mission of serving neighbors across the Philadelphia region with compassionate care and essential services.
“We are thrilled to welcome Ellen to our team,” said Heather Huot, Secretary and Executive Vice President of CCoP. “Her expertise in team building and strategic philanthropic engagement will be an incredible asset to our mission.”
Mansfield brings over 25 years of experience in development and institutional advancement, most recently serving as Chief Development Officer at KenCrest in Blue Bell, where she launched and led a $6 million fundraising campaign. She has held leadership roles at Ursinus College, Pennsylvania College of Optometry, Cardinal Dougherty High School, and Melmark, among others.
“I am grateful to be returning to serve the people in the Archdiocese,” Mansfield said. “It’s thrilling to combine my years of raising funds for disability organizations with my volunteer service in youth, older adult, and basic needs communities.”
She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Ursinus College and a Master of Business Administration from La Salle University.
A member of Epiphany of Our Lord Parish in Plymouth Meeting, Mansfield is also an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion and has served with the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
