Immaculata University is set to welcome its largest incoming undergraduate class ever this fall, with more than 415 first-year students and over 60 transfer students enrolling. The milestone marks a 38% increase from last year and a 46% jump compared to fall 2023.

According to university officials, a 30% rise in applications over the previous year reflects growing demand for Immaculata’s academic programs, affordability, and Catholic mission.

“This milestone isn’t just about numbers—it’s about the students choosing to begin their future here,” said President Barbara Lettiere.

To accommodate the growth, the university has renovated Gillet Hall, a former residence for the IHM Sisters, into student housing for 56 undergraduates. The facility includes 10 double-occupancy and 36 single-occupancy rooms.

Graduate and adult professional applications are also trending upward, with total enrollment expected to reach between 2,600 and 2,700 students this fall.

University leaders say the momentum reflects a broader commitment to student success and institutional stability.

Established in 1920 and guided by the Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Immaculata University is located near Malvern in Chester County, Pennsylvania.
