All are invited to attend a special forum on infertility hosted by the Office for Life and Family in partnership with the Respect Life Committee at St. Peter’s in West Brandywine.

The event will take place on Saturday, Sept. 27 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 2835 Manor Road, West Brandywine, PA. Lunch will be provided.

Titled “A Forum on Infertility: Better, Moral Alternatives to In-vitro Fertilization and the Spiritual Care for Couples,” the day will explore the moral, pastoral, and spiritual dimensions of infertility.

This daylong forum will explore the moral, pastoral, and spiritual realities of infertility and offer answers to pressing questions: Do you know anyone struggling with infertility? Did you know there is help and hope for them? Are you aware of Natural Procreative Technology (NaPro), which treats fertility as an integral part of women’s health? Do you know the moral problems with In-Vitro Fertilization? You’ll learn about all this and more.

Moderated by Dr. Daniel Drain, archdiocesan director for the Office for Life and Family, the forum will offer insights into the truth about sex, marriage, and reproduction; spiritual support for couples facing infertility; the realities and consequences of IVF; restorative approaches to treatment; and the Church’s teachings on the issue.

Featured speakers include Gerald Burke, M.D., J.D.; Bill Donaghy, M.A.; Marguerite Duane, M.D.; Theresa Farnan; Ann Koshute, MTS; Fr. Paul West; and Alexis Sneller.

Registration is $15 per person or $25 per married couple, with fees waived for clergy and religious.
