Catholics across the Archdiocese and beyond are invited to embark on a spiritual journey this fall as Fr. Matthew Phelan, O.deM, Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, leads an 11-day pilgrimage to Italy alongside Dr. Anne DeSantis and the St. Raymond Nonnatus Foundation. From November 3 to 13, pilgrims will travel through Rome, Assisi, Orvieto, and Lanciano, encountering some of the most revered shrines and Eucharistic miracle sites in Catholic tradition.
The itinerary includes visits to the tombs of Pope Francis and Blessed Carlo Acutis, offering moments of reflection and connection with modern witnesses of faith. Daily Mass, communal prayer, and fellowship will anchor the experience, fostering spiritual renewal in the heart of the Church. A rare and extraordinary highlight of the pilgrimage will be a personal audience with Pope Leo XVI, promising to be a once-in-a-lifetime encounter for all participants.
