Villanova University will host a Fireside Chat titled Laudato Si’ at 10 Years: Looking Back to Plan Ahead on Monday, Sept. 22, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. in the Villanova Room of the Connelly Center. Commemorating a decade since Pope Francis released his groundbreaking encyclical Laudato Si’, the event will feature a panel of experts reflecting on its lasting influence.
The discussion will explore the moral and spiritual call to environmental stewardship, emphasizing ecological conversion, social responsibility, and the deep connection between God, humanity, and the Earth. Faith communities’ role in shaping a sustainable future will be a central theme.
