Catholic Charities of Philadelphia‘s Mercy Hospice celebrated National Recovery Month by hosting its Sixth Annual Mercy Hospice Recovery Walk Sept. 29. The initiative supports those currently in recovery and prayerfully remembers loved ones who lost their lives as a result of addiction.

Mercy Hospice is a residential program in Philadelphia providing a safe, supportive, and sober residential environment for women in recovery. The ministry welcomes over 30 single women and mothers with children, offering case management, life skills training, supportive services, and preparation for independent living to help them build a stable future.
