Immaculata University’s Cue & Curtain Theatre, the school’s longest-running student organization, will present its annual fall production, Curtains!, a 1930s-set comedy by playwright David Sodaro. Performances will be held Nov. 14–16 in the historic Alumnae Hall Theater.

The show opens Friday, Nov. 14, with performances at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. showing on Saturday, Nov. 15, and a final matinee on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 3 p.m.

Set during the Great Depression, Curtains! follows Charlie, a newlywed who inherits a dilapidated theater and hatches a plan to demolish it for insurance money. When the scheme requires staging a production to secure the policy, Charlie is thrust into a chaotic Frankenstein-themed play penned by his cousin-in-law. Patrick Walton ’28, a cybersecurity major, stars as Charlie, with Mackenzie Fillion ’28, a criminology major, playing his bewildered bride, Cheri.

Tickets are $15 for general admission and $8 for seniors and children under 18. They are available online, at the door, or by calling 484-323-3731. For more information, contact cctheatre@immaculata.edu.
