Catholic Charities of Philadelphia (CCoP) has appointed Steve Colestock as Chief Human Resources Officer, effective Oct. 20, 2025.
Colestock will work closely with the Catholic Church of Philadelphia’s Human Resources Office to build, lead, and sustain a cohesive, mission-driven Human Resources model across all CCoP program areas.
“We are thrilled that Steve will be stepping into this new role as Chief Human Resources Officer,” said Heather Huot, Secretary and Executive Vice President of CCoP. “This is an important step in our strategic vision of empowering our employees, that will lead to a stronger, more resilient workforce.”
Since joining CCoP in 2018, Colestock has held several positions of increasing responsibility. He most recently served as Senior Director of Human Resources for the organization’s Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Services, where he centralized and led human resource operations and implemented the first comprehensive human resource strategic plan.

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management from West Chester University and a Master of Science Degree in Human Resource Development from Villanova University.
A member of Our Mother of Consolation Parish in the Chestnut Hill, Colestock is also a volunteer and advocate at iHi International and a Human Resource Development Mentor at Villanova.
