Sister Marcia Anne Gehman SSJ, age 84, (formerly S. Marian William,) died on October 21, 2025, at Saint Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Willian T. and Mary F. (Cahill) Gehman, she attended Lincoln Grade School and Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pa.

In September 1960 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1968.

Sister Marcia ministered in the dioceses of Allentown, Camden, Harrisburg, Newark and Philadelphia.

She is survived by cousins, dear friends, and members of her congregation, the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Philadelphia.

Services will be held at 10:30 am on Thursday, November 13, 2025. Services will be livestreamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.
