St. Hubert students gather on the school’s front steps on Oct. 29 wearing custom-designed pink shirts during the annual Passionately Pink Breast Cancer Walk, a student-led event to raise awareness and funds during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
More than 480 students from St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls in Tacony took part in the school’s annual “Passionately Pink Breast Cancer Walk” on Wednesday, Oct 29.
Dressed in student-designed pink t-shirts and carrying signs honoring loved ones affected by breast cancer, students walked in solidarity to raise awareness and funds for the cause.
The event, held from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. at the school’s Torresdale Avenue campus, concluded with a check presentation to Principal Dr. MacKenzie and a performance of the school’s Alma Mater on the front steps.
Organized by the Student Council, the walk is a longstanding October tradition at St. Hubert, part of a broader slate of student-led initiatives during Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Founded in 1941, St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls has educated generations of women in faith, integrity, and leadership.
