Bishop Christopher Cooke blessed a life-size, Vatican-authorized replica of Michelangelo’s Pietà during its unveiling at St. Bede the Venerable Church in Holland on Oct. 17. The 6,700-pound Carrara marble casting, one of only 100 in the world, is now on display in the church’s Padre Pio Shrine Chapel, offering visitors a rare opportunity to experience the iconic sculpture up close.
