Holy Martyrs Church in Oreland, Montgomery County, is preparing a lineup of seasonal gatherings and service opportunities for families and youth.

On Wednesday, Dec. 4, children in preschool through fifth grade can take part in Advent Adventure, an evening of prayer, games, and crafts designed to prepare for the Advent season. Middle and high school students are invited to volunteer.

On Saturday, Dec. 7, the parish will host its annual Breakfast with Santa, welcoming participants of all ages for festive fun and fellowship.

Later in the month, on Thursday, Dec. 19, young people and their caregivers can join the Youth Service Project, a sandwich-making effort supporting St. Francis Inn.

The holiday season continues into the new year with “Little Christmas” with Following the Star on Wednesday, Jan. 8, a program of crafts, games, and storytelling for preschool through fifth grade, with volunteer opportunities for older youth.
