(CRS)

Amid significant cutbacks to international humanitarian assistance, the Catholic Relief Services (CRS) Philadelphia Advocacy Chapter is urging local Catholics and all people of goodwill to join its effort to protect vulnerable communities worldwide through the CRS Save Lives campaign.

The chapter is a volunteer-led group that advocates on behalf of families facing conflict, hunger, climate-related disasters, and displacement.

The CRS Save Lives campaign seeks to mobilize private support to sustain essential programs that provide food, clean water, shelter, and health care in some of the world’s most fragile regions.

The initiative emphasizes compassion and solidarity, calling on supporters to stand with “our most vulnerable sisters and brothers across the world.”

The Philadelphia chapter is hosting a fundraiser now through Dec. 31, inviting donations of any amount. Contributions will directly support CRS’s lifesaving work.
