Catholic men discerning a call to serve the Church are invited to attend “Called to Serve – A Forum for Men Considering the Permanent Diaconate” on Jan. 22 at 7 p.m. in the first-floor auditorium of the Archdiocesan Pastoral Center in Center City Philadelphia.

The evening will offer an overview of the permanent diaconate, including the formation program and admissions process for the School of Diaconal Formation at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, followed by an open discussion.

The session is designed for men ages 29 to 55, married or single, who feel drawn to this ordained ministry of the church.

Wives are strongly encouraged to participate so that discernment can be approached as a shared family journey.

Light refreshments will be available. For more information or to register, please visit archphila.org/deacon.
