Catholic communities across the region are preparing to participate in the Nationwide Prayer Vigil for Life Jan. 22-23, an observance announced in November 2025 by the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops to unite parishes, religious communities, and the faithful in prayer for the protection of human life.

As the national vigil takes place in Washington, D.C., churches and schools throughout the Philadelphia area are planning liturgies, holy hours, and pro‑life gatherings to offer a coordinated local witness of solidarity and intercession. The following roundup outlines upcoming events across the region.
