St. Charles Borromeo Seminary will host its annual John Cardinal Foley Lecture on Monday, Jan. 26 at 7 p.m. in the Julia Ball Auditorium at Gwynedd Mercy University, Lower Gwynedd.
This year’s talk, “Mercy and Mission: Continuity and New Accents from Pope Francis to Pope Leo XIV,” will be delivered by Dominican Father Patrick Mary Briscoe, a popular podcast host and noted preacher at the National Eucharistic Revival.
He is the first-ever General Promoter of Social Communication for the worldwide Order of Preachers in which he supports the order’s communication efforts, fostering collaboration and helping shape a global strategy for preaching through media.
His media savvy, engaging style, and religious charisma all contribute to his online popularity and to his apostolic work.
