Archdiocesan high schools within the City of Philadelphia will reopen on Thursday, Jan. 29, according to an update issued today.

Parochial elementary school families in the city will receive guidance directly from their individual school leaders regarding Thursday’s schedule. Several elementary school buildings will remain closed due to transportation challenges in their neighborhoods; those schools will operate on a Flexible Instruction Day.

Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary schools in the suburban counties will continue to follow the decisions of their local public school districts and report closures independently.
