Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary school buildings in the City of Philadelphia will be closed on Monday, Jan. 26, 2026, and will shift to a Flexible Instruction Day as a significant winter storm approaches the region.

A Winter Storm Watch is in effect for Philadelphia and the surrounding area from Saturday evening through Monday. Forecasters expect the heaviest snow to fall Sunday morning, with impacts likely to continue into Monday.

Archdiocesan high schools and parochial elementary schools in the suburban counties will follow the decisions of their corresponding public school districts and report closure status independently.

Students and parents are encouraged to check their local school’s website and communications for further updates.
