Sister Estelle Marker SSJ, (formerly Sister St. Irma,) age 88, died on December 14, 2025, at St. Joseph Villa.

The daughter of the late Joseph Walter Marker and Agnes (nee Rauch) Marker, she attended Sacred Heart Grade School and Hallahan High School.

In September 1956 she entered the Sisters of Saint Joseph, Chestnut Hill, and professed her final vows in 1964.

She is preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and Ronald Marker, and sisters Eileen Marker and Agnes Kochowicz. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, and members of her Congregation the Sisters Saint Joseph of Philadelphia.

Friends are invited to St. Joseph Villa beginning at 9:30 AM on Friday, December 19, 2025. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM. Services will be livestreamed from the Saint Joseph Villa website www.stjosephvilla.org.
