Faithful gathered Jan. 18 at St. Malachy Church in North Philadelphia for the annual archdiocesan Interfaith Prayer Service commemorating the life and legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., where Archbishop Nelson J. Pérez served as principal convener. He was joined by faith leaders from across Philadelphia who proclaimed scripture readings and offered a reflection on King’s enduring impact.
